Golden Philanthropies is a philanthropic organisation based in Singapore, dedicated to funding land-based solutions that tackle climate challenges and restore ecosystems. We work with partners to drive high-impact action across the Asia region, with a strong focus on Indonesia.
We direct catalytic funding, through strategic collaborations, to advance sustainable land use practices in the region. Our local knowledge and strong networks accelerate the transition to net-zero emissions by directly addressing climate change. Our philanthropic initiatives and partnerships support projects that:

Our Leadership brings deep expertise in conservation, sustainable development, and the Indonesian landscape.
We are a core member of the Philanthropy Asia Alliance (by Temasek Trust), and lead its Sustainable Land Use Community (SLC) – a regional platform that brings together funders and changemakers to accelerate land-based climate solutions.
With support from a pool of donor companies and community members, we go beyond traditional grant-making. We collaborate with partners to co-create replicable, financially viable models that others can adopt and adapt.
Golden Philanthropies funds solutions that reduce emissions from agriculture and land use, restore degraded ecosystems, and increase carbon sequestration across landscapes. Our focus is on Asia, with an emphasis on Indonesia.
